TOP BRUNCHES in (EAST) LONDON

Weekends were made for brunches. Or brunches were made for the weekends. Either way brunch is one of my favourite meals all week, but the good ones are often a struggle to find. So I thought I will share my favourites with you if you are ever in East London and wondering where to go.

Dalston: Fingers Crossed used to be my regular weekend hangout place before I moved away to E3. To this day I reminiscence over its’ baked chorizo and eggs breakfast. Simply delicious.

Homerton: Wells street kitchen does a great breakfast selection with a twist.

Hackney Wick: Counter Café is my new local now – and my favourite meal there is definitely the Turkish Eggs… followed by the French toast.

Bethnal green: Pavilion Cafe – does a very good full English with a lovely area to sit by the Lake in Victoria Park. Corner Old Ford Road, Victoria Park, London, E9 7DE, London E9 7DE.

Hackney Central: Hash E8 if you are into hash browns and yummy brunches this is your gig.

The chain: The breakfast club – if you are prepared to queue then it is definitely worth it. Watch out for a secret bar through the fridge door in Liverpool street Spitafields branch.

Splash out: NOPI – Ottolenghi’s restaurant does great selection and definitely the best Shakshuka in London town.

New: Canto Carvino – during whole of October they have half price brunches (their food is literally to die for) and they have a really eggselent selection for brunch!
